Recently, state lawmakers and Gov. Evers passed and signed into law SB 421/AB 416, which provides $42 million in financial assistance for the modernization of the Rothschild Dam.

We applaud this bipartisan commitment from the state of Wisconsin, which will help maintain and enhance the numerous benefits the dam provides to the surrounding communities, including tax revenue, recreational opportunities and public safety.

Domtar will continue to seek an equitable solution to fund this project via cost-sharing funding opportunities at the local and federal levels.
